How It Works

Air Pressure Measurement
Two sensors – one on the truck unit, one on the trailer – capture the air pressure in the vehicle's suspension. Any change in pressure corresponds directly to a change in payload.

Tonnage Calculation
The microprocessors inside the sender boxes reliably convert the air pressure into tonnes, taking the individual characteristics of each vehicle into account.

Display on Smartphone
Data is transmitted wirelessly without delay. The loading process is visible in real time on the smartphone or tablet – clearly readable and always up to date.
Mobile App
With the Luxotronic Truck Scale App, drivers have full visibility of the vehicle's total weight throughout the entire loading process. Combined with the sensors fitted to the truck, this ensures a safe and stress-free journey with no risk of overloading.

The Complete System as a Modular Kit
Front Sender
Sender unit for the truck cab unit. Captures air pressure in the front suspension and transmits data wirelessly.
Rear Sender
Sender unit for the trailer. Captures air pressure at the rear axle and transmits data wirelessly to the app.

installation and calibration
This video demonstrates the simple installation and calibration of the Luxronic Truckscale 2.0 for silo trucks. The sensors are mounted on the tractor unit and trailer, connected to the air suspension, and then configured via the app. After a one-time calibration, the payload, total vehicle weight, and axle load distribution can be monitored in real time on a smartphone or tablet. This helps prevent overloading and underloading while ensuring precise control of every load.
